Dinner at Lyfe

Here on the Wellness Factor, we hope to provide inspiration for likeminded young people to stay on track with their wellness goals. As high school students, a chocolate-chip cookie (or two, or three…) seems harmless when you’re running on three hours of sleep. In the long haul, it only puts us behind mentally and physically. We hope to help busy students like ourselves push through the constant temptations and figure out a perfectly balanced lifestyle.

When going out to dinner with friends, for example, it can be more than tempting to indulge in food that is “off limits”. But we have found that the key to staying on track is to find a spot that everyone can enjoy: one that offers healthy choices. We went out with a few friends to Lyfe Kitchen, a restaurant in Downtown Palo Alto and successfully ordered meals that were fresh, healthy, and tasted delicious.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more health and fitness inspiration!
