IT’S STILL SUMMER! Therefore, it is still completely acceptable to drink fruity based drinks to refresh after a long day. I tried watermelon agua fresca from the farmers market a while back and loved the subtle, cleansing taste so I decided to replicate it!
- Chop the watermelon into chunks and remove the rind
- Put about a cup of chunks into the blender with 3 cups of water
- Blend until completely mixed and serve!
It’s that easy!
You can refrigerate it for an hour or two to get a cool, refreshing drink completely free of added sugars or processed junk that many commercial drinks contain.
